About the Society and School

Established in 1978, the Sardar Pratap Singh Education Society was named in honor of Sardar Pratap Singh—an eminent freedom fighter, social reformer, former Municipal Councillor, and Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council. His invaluable contributions to the nation’s freedom movement and society remain our enduring inspiration.

The primary driving force behind the Society was the late Sardar Jaidev Singh, who, alongside other founding members, initiated the construction of our school building in Bhandup to bring quality education to the community. Following his demise, his sons, Mr. Amarjit Singh and Mr. Charanjeet Singh, assumed leadership, dedicatedly carrying forward the founding vision of educational excellence.

Daffodils High Public School is headed by its founding Principal, Mrs. Sonali Jagade. Her dynamic leadership, vision, and commitment have been pivotal in shaping the school’s growth and reputation.

Our motto, “ROOTED IN CARE, RAISED TO RISE,” reflects our promise to provide a compassionate environment. Grounded in strong values, we inspire students to rise with confidence, excel in their pursuits, and realize their full potential as global citizens.

Our Educational Approach

Holistic Growth: We balance academic excellence with sports, arts, and cultural exposure to build confidence and purpose.

Cultural Roots: We integrate traditional Indian values from text heritages like the Ramayana and Bhagavad Gita to foster integrity, discipline, and respect.

Individual Attention: Our faculty provides personalized mentorship, ensuring every student receives the care they need to thrive socially and emotionally.

We aim to graduate well-rounded, responsible leaders ready to make a positive impact on society.

Message from Trustee

Every child is naturally curious and full of potential. At Daffodils High Public School, we see it as our responsibility to nurture that potential, which in turn helps it grow into confidence and purpose. Education, for us, goes beyond textbooks and exams — it’s about shaping character, instilling values, and preparing students for life.

For over twelve years, we have offered a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where students are encouraged to aim high and give their best.

Our approach is aimed to provide strong academics accompanied with opportunities in arts, sports, and community activities. This helps students develop into well-rounded individuals who think clearly, communicate effectively, and collaborate successfully.

We believe education should not be limited to academics, thus we emphasize cultural and value-based learning rooted in our rich heritage. By drawing lessons from the Ramayana and the Bhagavad Gita, we instil moral values, discipline, respect, and a sense of responsibility. These teachings help students understand righteousness, perseverance, and inner strength, which will make them ethical and responsible individuals.

We understand that every child is unique, with their own strengths and talents. Our teachers guide each student individually, helping them learn at a pace that suits them. We focus on their mental and emotional well-being. Our dedicated faculty identifies learning gaps or personal challenges and provides personalized coaching and continuous support. Through mentoring and a caring environment, we ensure no child is left behind.

Our mission is to provide a safe, encouraging, and inspiring environment where students grow academically, culturally, and emotionally — emerging as confident, balanced, and values-driven individuals ready to make a positive impact on society.

As the world evolves, we prepare students not only with knowledge and skills but also with essential values like respect, responsibility, and compassion. We want them to be proud of who they are and face new challenges with courage.
